The USS District of Columbia Commissioning Committee attended the 13-14 November 2024 Naval Submarine League's Annual Symposium and Industry Update.
The Commanding Officer, CAPT Heath Johnmeyer, Chief of the Boat, CCSCM(SS) Mark Shipley and three additional crew members, EMN1(SS) James Nirva, EMNI(SS) John Foy, and MMN2(SS) Gracie Machin from the USS District of Columbia joined us to share updates on the construction and commissioning efforts.

The crew also had the opportunity to meet Secretary of the Navy, Carlos Del Toro.
